Having worked for several years in the commercial world of Consulting in central London, Alex Meredith was determined to find something to make his own and made his working life feel more fulfilling. A lifelong gamer, he started to wonder about the possibility of finding a job in the board game industry. And if he was going to do that, why not start his own business? What about a Board Game café? After all, loads of people had found success opening their own, so why shouldn’t he?

Things didn’t go quite as smoothly as he’d anticipated, and over a period of nearly 2 years he found himself constantly beset by delays as he struggled to find the right location to make his dream a reality. But, finally, in September 2026, Dice and Easy is opening its doors for the first time!
